Diamonds Do Good (DDG) has announced its latest initiative titled “April = Diamonds Do Good Month”, which aims to foster a deeper understanding among consumers regarding the significant, positive impact of purchasing natural diamonds.
“We believe that every natural diamond has a story to tell, and Diamonds Do Good Month provides an opportunity to amplify these stories and educate consumers about the positive impact of their purchase,” remarked Nancy Orem Lyman, executive director of Diamonds Do Good.
Educational Resources and Collaboration
DDG plans to assist retailers in their educational efforts by providing a comprehensive package of assets, including:
- Outreach efforts to local news networks focusing on educating the market about natural diamonds.
- ‘Myth vs. Fact’ educational material for sales associates to address common inquiries about natural diamonds.
- Social media content aimed at enlightening consumers on the beneficial impact of their natural diamond purchases.
- Tailored captions and imagery consistent with each retailer’s brand identity.
- Inclusion of retailer logos and impact stories on the DDG website.
- Branded DDG videos for in-store and online use.
- Recommendations for website header text and imagery throughout April.
- A press release template for local news dissemination.
“We’re thrilled to partner with retailers across the country to spread awareness about the positive contributions of natural diamonds,” expressed Kathy Corey, President of Diamonds Do Good and former owner of Day’s Jewelers. “Together, we can empower consumers to make informed choices and understand the life-changing impact behind their natural diamond purchase.”
