The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) will offer complimentary next-day grading services for natural, colorless diamonds submitted to its New York and Carlsbad laboratories during the 2025 holiday period.
The service applies to both GIA Diamond Grading Reports and GIA Diamond Dossier services, and is available from November 10 to December 17, 2025.
U.S.-based clients can access this expedited service by including the promo code “HOLIDAY” on both their memo and shipping box. The offer is open to shipped and walk-in submissions, with a maximum of five stones per client per day.
Submission Guidelines and Conditions
To meet the 24-hour turnaround, stones will be processed and printed, with no option to add services after submission. All services, including inscriptions or AGS Ideal® reports, must be requested on the intake memo. Standard shipping rates still apply.
Clients will also receive a GIA diamond display case, subject to availability.
Implications for Jewelers
The offer is intended to help accommodate holiday-season demand by providing expedited GIA certification at no additional charge. The faster turnaround may support holiday order fulfillment and restocking of certified goods.
The submission limits and restrictions on additional services indicate GIA is managing volume during the peak period.
