Stuller has announced the return of its Bench Jeweler Workshop, scheduled for March 28-29, 2025, at the company’s headquarters in Lafayette, Louisiana. The event will feature hands-on training, demonstrations, and educational sessions covering a range of industry skills.
“This workshop offers an opportunity for bench jewelers to stay ahead of the latest industry advancements,” said Tiffany Adams, executive director of merchandising at Stuller. “With sessions tailored to meet diverse skill levels, attendees can customize their experience by selecting from a variety of classes and demonstrations.”
Sessions and Training
The workshop will include expert-led sessions on:
- Bench Demonstrations
- Applying Special Finishes
- Basic Diamond Grading
- Soldering Assembly
- Manufacturing With 3D Printing
- Hands-On With Modern CAD
These sessions will cover both traditional and modern techniques used in jewelry making.
Battle of the Benches Competition
Stuller will also host Battle of the Benches, a competition where participants will complete challenges focused on different aspects of bench work. The competition will take place on the demonstration floor throughout the event and will include three mini challenges:
- CAD Mini Challenge – Focused on computer-aided design
- Parts & Pieces Challenge – Testing assembly and fabrication skills
- Ring Repair Mini Challenge – Evaluating repair proficiency
