The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA), a New York City-based trade organisation representing jewelers, diamantaires, and color stone dealers, has announced its newly elected Board of Directors and Executive Committee for 2025. The elections were finalised during the INCAs December 6, 2024, meeting.
Leadership for 2025
The following individuals have been elected to the IDCA Executive Committee for 2025:
- President: Manoj Bhandari, RMC Gems Inc.
- Vice-President: Kunal Shah, Pristine Gems Inc.
- Secretary: Shekhar Shah, Real Gems Inc.
- Treasurer: Vishal Shah, Renaissance Jewelry New York Inc.
- Acting Joint Secretary: Jay Mehta, Disons Gems Inc.
These appointments reflect the association’s ongoing leadership structure and focus on supporting its objectives in the jewelry industry.
Newly Elected Directors
Six new members have joined the IDCA Board of Directors for 2025:
- Vineet Bokaria, Niru NY Ltd
- Yatish Dangayach, Color Jewels Inc.
- Parag Jain, Paramount Gems
- Ajay Javeri, Diamour Inc.
- Vishal Kotahwala, Royal India USA Inc.
- Saumil Parikh, Renaissance Diamonds/American Originals
The addition of these directors brings a range of expertise to the Board, supporting the association’s representation of the diamond and gemstone sectors.
Continuing Board Members
Two directors will continue their service into 2025:
- Shailesh Jhalani, Prompt Gem Importers Inc.
- Nimish Mehta, Atit Diamond Corp.
Their ongoing roles provide stability to the association’s governance.
Recognizing Service
The IDCA acknowledged the contributions of Mr. Haridas Kotahwala, the retiring President for 2024, for his service as a founding member and leader of the association. The following outgoing board members were also thanked for their dedication:
