The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is set to present an extensive array of interactive displays, informative presentations, and hands-on demonstrations at the Couture and JCK Las Vegas shows.

GIA at Couture Lounge Café Noir
On Thursday, May 30, attendees are invited to the Couture Lounge Café Noir for 20-minute sessions hosted by a GIA instructor. These sessions will focus on translating gemological knowledge into engaging customer experiences. The demonstrations will feature exceptional gemstones from the GIA museum, providing insights for jewellers looking to enhance their customer interactions.
Live Demonstrations and Presentations
GIA’s booth at JCK Las Vegas, located at 15031 on Gallery level 2, will host a series of live demonstrations and presentations. Topics will include diamond grading, gem identification, jewelry design, and jewelry forensics. Attendees will have the opportunity for hands-on interaction with tools such as the GIA Gemolite NXT, GIA iD100, and GIA Match iD, offering practical skills and knowledge enhancement for gem and jewelry professionals.
GIA Show Service Laboratory
The GIA Show Service Laboratory will provide on-site gemological services at the Venetian. From May 30, coloured stone identification and origin services will be available at Bassano 2805-2806, Level 2. Due to limited capacity, early submissions are recommended to ensure timely return.
Industry Networking Event
On Friday, May 31, the AGS Young Titleholders and GIA’s Alumni Collective will co-host the “MIX IT UP” event, fostering networking opportunities among industry peers and GIA alumni.
