The Grown Diamond Trade Organization (GDTO) has announced the appointment of Stanley Mathuram, CEO of ECG Global Solutions, as the new head of Sustainability Standards and Ratings, aiming to shore up their capabilities around sustainability, transparency, and ethical practices within the lab-grown diamond sector.
Extensive Experience in Sustainability
Mathuram brings significant experience to the role, with a background in Chemical and Environmental Engineering and over 25 years in sustainability, business development, circularity, climate finance, carbon markets, transition economy, and environmental engineering. Previously serving as Executive Vice President of SCS Global Services, he played a key role in developing and implementing the Certified Sustainability Rated Diamonds standard.
