Jewelers of America (JA) has announced that Ana Khouri will receive the 2026 GEM Award for High Jewelry Excellence. The award will be presented during the 24th annual GEM Awards, scheduled for March 13, 2026, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.
The GEM Award for High Jewelry Excellence is presented to a brand that demonstrates achievement in high jewelry design and contributes to increased consumer interest in the category.
Recognition of High Jewelry Craftsmanship
The GEM Awards Committee selected Ana Khouri for her work in creating high jewelry grounded in a sculptural approach. Amanda Gizzi, JA’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, said the brand was selected for its approach to design and materials:
“Through a sculptural approach rooted in fine art, Ana Khouri has established a distinct and influential voice within high jewelry, defined by exceptional craftsmanship and ethical materials. Ana Khouri’s work continues to elevate the category, offering designs that resonate deeply with collectors while expanding the boundaries of what high jewelry can be.”
Ana Khouri launched her eponymous brand in 2002 and opened a salon in New York in 2013. The brand has exhibited work through Phillips, Sotheby’s, Christie’s, and at TEFAF New York.

The company produces one-of-a-kind pieces in its New York salon and limited-edition numbered pieces at The Row retail locations. All pieces are crafted using 18K Fairmined gold, platinum, and responsibly sourced gemstones.
