Ben Bridge Jeweler has acquired Olympic Manufacturing, a full-service jewelry repair and manufacturing business based in Bellevue, Washington. The move furthers Ben Bridge’s strategy of vertical integration by bringing long-standing manufacturing and repair services under direct company ownership.
Founded in 1975, Olympic Manufacturing has partnered with Ben Bridge for over 30 years, providing a range of services including CAD design, in-house casting, laser repair, engraving, and full custom jewelry creation. Its existing staff and operations will remain at their current Bellevue location, continuing to serve both local clients and Ben Bridge’s broader retail network.
Expanded Capabilities for Custom and Repair Services
The acquisition is intended to centralize manufacturing and repair functions, with the goal of enhancing operational oversight and service consistency. “By bringing their talent and capabilities in-house, we can ensure even more quality control, efficiency, and personal attention for our clients. Their unmatched expertise and dedication to the craft align perfectly with our mission to provide the highest level of service to our customers.” stated Lisa Bridge, President & CEO of Ben Bridge Jeweler.
The integration is expected to support faster turnaround times and more responsive repair and custom service delivery.
Implications for Independent Jewelers
The company has indicated plans to offer business-to-business support to other independent jewelers as part of the expanded capabilities.
“We are excited to offer our capabilities as a resource,” Bridge added further. “We believe that by supporting fellow jewelers in our community, we can build a stronger, more vibrant industry for everyone.”
