A new monthly event, the NYC Jewelry and Vintage Show (NYCJAVS), is launching in New York City on October 26, 2024.
Organized by KIL Promotions, the show will take place in the Chelsea arts district at 545 West 23rd Street and will feature vintage jewelry, fashion, art objects, accessories, and watches. The event will continue on a monthly basis with additional dates on November 29-30, December 13-14, 2024, and January 25, 2025, at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
Monthly Showcase of Vintage Jewelry and Fashion
The NYC Jewelry and Vintage Show is set to offer a regular showcase of vintage design, featuring items from vendors across the United States. The selection will include a range of historical jewelry, from Victorian and Edwardian pieces to retro designer fashion.
“The NYC Jewelry and Vintage Show is designed to be an unforgettable journey through vintage fashion and jewelry,” says Konstantinos Leoussis, founder of NYCJAVS and KIL Promotions. “We want our visitors to discover pieces that speak to them, pieces that are as unique as they are. The show is about bringing people together to celebrate fashion and style that endures decades.”
Opportunity for Jewelers and Collectors
For jewelers, the NYCJAVS provides a platform to engage directly with a community of collectors and other vendors, offering an opportunity to showcase unique vintage pieces and create connections with a dedicated audience. The rotating selection at each show ensures that attendees will experience new collections, potentially attracting repeat visitors and fostering long-term relationships between jewelers and vintage enthusiasts.
The show also aims to foster appreciation for the cultural and historical significance of the pieces displayed, potentially encouraging greater interest in vintage jewelry.
A New Venue for Networking and Discovery
Located in Chelsea, a well-known art and fashion district in New York, the NYCJAVS is designed to attract both collectors and the general public. The monthly schedule provides opportunities for regular visits, where attendees can explore a changing selection of vintage items. This frequency could offer jewelers ongoing opportunities to engage with returning customers.
As Konstantinos Leoussis explains, “The show is about bringing people together to celebrate fashion and style that endures decades.”
Tickets are available through Eventbrite, and ticket holders will receive a $10 coupon valid with any vendor at the show. The event is also open for exhibitor registration, providing jewelers a chance to secure a presence at future dates.
