India’s Gem & Jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has announced a new partnership with the INSTORE Jewelry Show, set to take place September 28–29 in Rosemont, Illinois.
As part of the collaboration, GJEPC will introduce a dedicated Indian pavilion aimed at showcasing jewelry from select Indian manufacturers to U.S. retail buyers ahead of the holiday season.
Focus on Holiday-Ready Inventory
The Indian pavilion will feature a selection of products from GJEPC member companies, aimed at U.S. retailers planning their fourth-quarter inventory. The pavilion will include a range of styles and categories, with a focus on manufacturing capabilities, detailed craftsmanship, and market readiness.
“This partnership represents a significant step towards enhancing the global experience for attendees of the INSTORE Jewelry Show,” said Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of GJEPC. “Our members are excited to showcase their work to discerning retail buyers in the U.S., who are searching for standout inventory to elevate their holiday collections.”
GJEPC’s Global Trade Strategy
The partnership with the INSTORE Jewelry Show aligns with GJEPC’s broader goal of promoting Indian jewelry exports by expanding into key international markets. By participating in U.S.-based trade shows, the Council aims to increase visibility for Indian manufacturers and facilitate direct engagement with North American buyers.
“We’re thrilled to host GJEPC and its members at The INSTORE Jewelry Show,” said Matthijs Braakman, Publisher. “This partnership adds an exciting new dimension to our event, and we’re confident that the Indian pavilion will be a must-visit destination for buyers seeking unique and high-quality pieces.”
Industry Implications
For U.S. retailers, the addition of the Indian pavilion offers expanded access to international suppliers during a key buying season. The partnership reflects a broader trend of global collaboration within the jewelry trade and provides Indian manufacturers with an opportunity to connect with U.S. retailers and align their offerings with market needs.
The INSTORE Jewelry Show is a business-focused event for jewelry retailers, offering opportunities for product discovery, networking, and industry education. The inclusion of the Indian pavilion broadens the international scope of the show and contributes to its role as a sourcing and engagement platform. For more information about the Gem & Jewelry Export Promotion Council, visit www.gjepc.org.
