What Grown Brilliance will price match
Grown Brilliance offers a price match guarantee specifically for loose lab-grown diamonds. If you find an identical diamond at a lower price from a U.S. retailer, they promise to match that price. This applies only to loose diamonds, meaning diamonds that are not yet set into a piece of jewelry. To qualify, you must compare the diamond’s key attributes: carat weight, cut (including shape), color, and clarity, which are commonly known as the 4 Cs.
The competitor’s diamond also has to be from a legitimate certified retailer, and the price must be listed publicly in U.S. dollars on a website that anyone can access. If you believe you’ve found a diamond that matches all these criteria at a better price, you can reach out to Grown Brilliance customer service. They will need a link to the competitor’s diamond to verify it. If the comparison is valid, Grown Brilliance will issue a coupon code for you to use when making your purchase. Just keep in mind that you must request the price match before completing your purchase—once the transaction is done, they won’t offer a refund for price differences.
What Grown Brilliance will not price match
Grown Brilliance limits its price match guarantee to loose diamonds only. They won’t price match any finished jewelry pieces, and there’s a good reason for that. Finished jewelry involves more variables, such as the craftsmanship, metal weight, and even the way diamonds are set. These factors differ significantly from one jeweler to another, making it difficult to ensure a fair comparison. For this reason, they only price match loose diamonds where a direct comparison can be made using the 4 Cs.
Other exclusions apply as well. For instance, diamonds purchased through their Truly Custom program are not eligible for price matching. This is because these custom orders involve premium diamonds selected specifically for your custom design, based on your exact specifications.
They also won’t match prices from non-retail channels, such as pawn shops, auction sites, or private sellers. These kinds of sales don’t offer the same consistency as traditional retail outlets, which is why Grown Brilliance excludes them. Additionally, the competitor’s diamond must be in stock and available at the time of the request. Expired offers, rebates, or special deals like “buy one, get one” won’t qualify for the price match guarantee.
Other things you should know about Grown Brilliance’s price matching options
There are a few final things to consider if you’re thinking about using Grown Brilliance’s price match service. First, they won’t offer a price adjustment after your purchase is complete. If you want to take advantage of the price match, it needs to be arranged before you finalize your order.
The price you are comparing must also be visible to the public and available to anyone. If you find a private sale or a listing on a marketplace site that gathers listings from multiple sellers, it won’t be eligible for price matching.
