What is Angara’s warranty policy?
Angara provides two warranty options for their jewelry: a Lifetime Warranty, which is automatically included with every purchase, and an optional Enhanced Warranty Plan for an additional fee.
The Lifetime Warranty is designed to help keep your jewelry looking its best over the years. It covers essential maintenance, including professional cleaning, re-polishing, tightening of gemstones or diamonds, and re-rhodium plating for white gold pieces. This warranty is focused on long-term care and maintaining the jewelry’s appearance and durability. If you encounter issues beyond this maintenance, Angara will inspect the item and, if the problem falls outside of the Lifetime Warranty’s coverage, they will inform you of any service fees before proceeding with repairs.
For an added cost, you can choose the Enhanced Warranty Plan, which covers wear and tear that the Lifetime Warranty does not include. This plan provides extra protection for your jewelry, especially if it is worn often or exposed to more potential damage. The Enhanced Warranty covers issues such as wear from daily use that wouldn’t be considered part of normal maintenance.
What’s covered by Angara’s warranty?
Angara’s Lifetime Warranty offers several services to ensure your jewelry stays in good condition:
Professional cleaning is available to remove dirt and buildup, helping to restore your jewelry’s shine. In addition to cleaning, Angara also offers re-polishing to make sure the metal looks as bright as it did when you first received it. If your gemstones or diamonds become loose, they will tighten them free of charge under this warranty. For white gold jewelry, the company also includes re-rhodium plating, which keeps the metal looking lustrous and protects it from tarnishing.
These services are available for the lifetime of your jewelry at no extra cost. However, if you need more substantial repairs, or services that fall outside of what the Lifetime Warranty covers, Angara will assess your item and notify you of any charges that may apply.
The Enhanced Warranty Plan expands the coverage to include wear and tear that occurs from regular use. If your jewelry sustains damage that’s not covered by the Lifetime Warranty, such as scratches or other signs of wear from daily activities, this plan will take care of those repairs. It’s an optional upgrade but can be useful if you anticipate needing more than just routine maintenance.
What isn’t covered by Angara’s warranty?
There are a few limitations to Angara’s warranties, especially when it comes to repairs or alterations by other jewelers. If you take your jewelry to someone outside of Angara for resizing or repairs, the Lifetime Warranty will no longer apply. This policy is in place because Angara can’t ensure the quality of work done by another jeweler, which could affect the integrity of your piece.
Normal wear and tear, such as scratches or dents, isn’t covered under the Lifetime Warranty. If you haven’t opted for the Enhanced Warranty Plan, you’ll need to pay for any repairs related to these issues after an initial evaluation by Angara.
It’s also important to note that neither the Lifetime nor the Enhanced Warranty covers the loss of gemstones or theft of your jewelry. These risks typically require separate insurance, which is something to consider if you want protection against loss.
Other things you should know about Angara’s warranty policy
If you need to send your jewelry back to Angara for warranty service, there is a return shipping fee to be aware of. For U.S. customers, the cost of a shipping label is $35 plus taxes. International customers will have different shipping fees depending on their location, so it’s a good idea to contact Angara’s customer service for details if you live outside the U.S.
Angara’s Lifetime Warranty also applies to jewelry that has been given as a gift. However, in order for the recipient to make a warranty claim, they’ll need the original proof of purchase or order details. This is important because Angara requires proof that the item was purchased directly from them in order to provide warranty services.
Lastly, having proof of purchase is generally necessary when making any warranty claim. This allows Angara to verify that the jewelry is eligible for their warranty services, so it’s a good idea to keep that information on hand.
If you have any issues with your jewelry contact their customer service team here, and they’ll request you to send the piece back for inspection.
